Decabromodiphenyi Oxide(Deca),is an additive type,beominated flame retardant.It is widely used in plastics due to its high bromine comtent,good flame retardancy,higher heat stability and cost efficiency,It is used in various plastic resins such as Polyethylene,Poiypropylene,HIPS(High impact Polystyrene).ABS,PBT,Polyanides,Rubbers,and in textiles formulations for back-coatings of fabrics used in upholstery furniture. Sone end-use applications in Plastios include electrical and electronic equipment (housings of computers, TV sets etc),automotive industry (under the hood parts for cars)and construction and building industry (pipes, wira＆cables etc.)
